Project Management Professional (PMP)® – Exam Preparation
For project managers and individuals who want to sit for the PMP® exam, this course is designed to address all concepts and knowledge areas, sample exams, workshops and final exam simulator to enable participants to pass the exam.This course addresses the essential PMBOK® Guide terminology, tools and techniques required to pass the PMP® exam, along with tips on how to study and answer the exam.Participants benefit from an optimal mix of learning methods to build their PM knowledge, learn to apply this knowledge in real life, and positions the participants to successfully complete the exam.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will have a comprehensive understanding of:

–          Present the PMI approach to project management as described by the guide to project management body of knowledge PMBOK®

–          Analyze the tools and techniques of the PMBOK® Guide processes and align your knowledge with PMBOK®

–          Practice solving sample exams and sharing feedback with participants

–          Create a self-study plan to focus your efforts on your exam date

Pre-requisites –          There are no formal pre-requisites, although prior knowledge to project Management basic concepts and terminologies is highly recommended

–       It is online, computer based exam at prometric

–       The exam is 200 multiple-choice questions, at 4 hours

–          It’s required to gain 135 marks (out of 200) to pass

Project Management Integration

–       The critical documents such as (Project Charter and Project Management Plan)

–       The essential processes such as directing and managing project execution, monitoring and controlling project works, integrated change control and closing a project or phase

Initiating & Planning Process Groups

–       Covers the core knowledge for effective project start up

–       Engaging stakeholders, collecting the requirements, defining scope, estimating resources, effort and developing a schedule

–       Estimating and determining cost budgets, planning quality, procurement, risks and communications.

Executing Process Group

–       How to acquire and develop a project team, perform quality assurance, and control the information flow in the project?

Monitor and Controlling Process Groups

–       How the scope is verified? How to control schedule, quality, risks, costs and stakeholders? And How to administer procurements and report on performance?

Closing Process Groups

–       Examine how to close out the project and procurement
